How to Unbrick Samsung Fascinate (Restore)
Restoring your Samsung Fascinate to Factory ! Ok, first off for anyone who has a bricked Fascinate worry no more. I have the stock DI01package3 which will set you back to factory. It doesn’t matter if your phone is rooted or not or what version you are running. Once your phone is restored to factory you can go into your phone settings and do a software update to get the latest version. Instructions: Settings – About phone – System Updates – Check New *note: your phone must be activated to do a software update. (JAYBallR) Instructions to Unbrick Samsung Fascinate *You will need the following for this process to work. 1. Odin note: Odin is the program you will have to use to flash the file on your phone. 2. Samsung Drivers You can BOTH of them here ! www.nyneaxis.com 3. Download DI01package3.tar You can download that here: forum.xda-developers.com Once you have those downloaded your now ready to restore the phone. 1.Open Odin then just minimize it you will come back. *DO NOT change or alter any of the settings in Odin very important. 1. Put your phone into download mode. You can see how i did it in the video. Plug your data cable into your phone powered off. Hold the volume down button then plug your usb into your computer. When you see the yellow triangle let go off volume. 2 Things should happen now ! ~ Your phone should be in download mode. Really frustrating because all the restore files and kernel files are dead on xda. All giving 404 missing file. Any word on active downloads?

@xGROPEx You are kidding me right? Bricked just means that you do not have access to the network, download mode has nothing to do with the network, when you start your phone, you also hold down the VOLUME DOWN, and it goes into download mode, nothing to do with Verizon.
