This phone sucks. The first Droid 2 I had Would freeze, turn on and off by itself, start vibrating nonstop untill I pull the battery out, even if it’s off. I tryed to do this hard reset and it had know effect. Then one day I couldn’t take it anymore, My warent was still active so I got a new Droid 2. It hasnt even been a week yet and so far it freezes, powers on and off on its own. And the worst part is is that when I try to text its like my keyboard doesn’t even work. I type one letter, and then

I have a droid 2 global (non r2d2) and this video doesn’t work on mine. If this video doesn’t work, try this. When completely powered off, hold the x and power button until the triangle with the exclamation icon comes up. Then on your physical keyboard, push the search key (the one with the magnifying glass). That should do it.
